“Took my daughter here for a surprise 21st Birthday brunch. From the minute we arrived the service was impeccable. The restaurant is stunning and everything was perfect. Food was excellent and a beautiful dessert was presented to my daughter as a birthday treat. Absolutely first class in every way.”

“We dined at the Ivy on a Saturday night over Easter. As expected, it was really busy and the atmosphere was great. I regularly enjoy brunch, lunch or dinner at their sister restaurant in Glasgow (which is my favourite one) and I used to frequent the original Ivy in Soho, London many moons ago. I love the look and feel of these dining spaces. The staff are always well trained and service is generally pretty slick. I also love a restaurant with a proper cloth napkin !! I took friends on this visit and everything was good with the exception of the Scallops my friend ordered. (I should say that I'm from Scotland's west coast and know a thing or two about fresh seafood)...these were tiny and probably frozen. I prefer large meaty scallops with coral seared quickly to caramalise. I ordered the chicken millenaise but it was a little dry and overcooked. My friends really enjoyed the Ribeye steak, duck starter and fish cake. The dessert was delicious. The menu across all the Ivy restaurants is the same and quality & standards tend to be quite high. I probably wouldn't go back to the Cambridge location as it wasn't as good as other visits elsewhere but I will definitely be back in Glasgow soon. Overall, I love the look and feel of this brightly coloured cosy brasserie, the service team did a great job but the food didn't quite live up to what I was expecting.”

“We came here for a 3 year anniversary dinner and everyone was so lovely. We even got a little dessert from The Ivy at no extra cost celebrating the occasion. It was so nice, I loved the artwork. The food was delicious. We had the cheese soufflé, truffle balls, burger and I think a duck curry of some sort (apologies this was 3 months ago!). Then the celebratory bomb with popping candy! Plus the extra treat from the Ivy. It was so yummy, I’m surprised we weren’t carried out we were so full.”

“We arrived slightly early for our 1.30pm lunch. No problem, our table wasn’t quite set up so we were shown to comfortable seating at the bar. We ordered our drinks and within a very short time were shown to our dining table. Allergies checked. We skipped starters and ordered mains. Only had to wait about 10 mins. Delicious. We shared a pudding- vanilla cheesecake with mango sorbet. Service was good- a little slow at times.”
